1. How does online tutoring work?  

• Teacher and student log on to a shared whiteboard as a platform for teaching. Student and teacher may converse using yahoo messenger.

• Helping with Homework    Student asked the question on the whiteboard, and the teacher shows the steps and solving and guides the student along. Teacher would summarise the learning pointers for the student after every question.

• Teaching Mathematical Concept     The teacher can teach the topic to the student on the shared whiteboard if learner were not clear about the concept.  Notes can be sent via MSN/yahoo messenger.

• Providing Assessment Style Question The teacher can provide worksheets or select questions that were interesting for the learners to attempt and used them as basis for discussions and learning of mathematical concepts.

2. What all technology do I need? 

• PC with an internet connection

• Optional digital pen tablet, which can be procured from amazon for ease of writing maths symbols and equations

3. What is the payment? 

Unlimited Service - US$90/mth unlimited service. Session needs to be scheduled. Students can learn Math or conservation Chinese.

4. Who are the teachers?

Our teachers are from Singapore, who are English speaking and are minimum graduates who excel in mathematics in the national examinations. They are trained accordingly before being assigned to undertake the online tutoring.  The training includes the use of shared whiteboard, and the familiarisation of the available structured mathematical contents. 5. What is this US$10 per session?
